Solgo Spray Tan Pre and After Care
Before your tan…
- Shave or wax hair 24 hours prior to your tan
- Exfoliate 2 – 3 times before your tan, in the week leading up, focusing on dry areas such as knuckles, elbows, ankles and knees
- Moisturise skin daily, ensuring the dryer areas are hydrated
- Select a loose fitting outfit to wear to your appointment, this will ensure the tan will develop well and no lines will appear. This would include loose shoes such as flip flops, baggy trousers, loose t-shirts with loose waist bands and preferably no bra, or a strapless one if necessary
On the day of your tan…
- Have a shower before you come to your appointment, to remove any moisturiser, deodorant or product you may have on; as this will effect the tan if it remains on the skin
- Remove your make up, this way your tan will develop fully on the face, and you will not have to go to bed with make up on
- Come in your chosen ‘baggy’ outfit and footwear
- If it’s raining, remember an umbrella- you can not get wet!
After your tan…
- Allow the tan to develop for a minimum of 8 hours, but for best results leave tan on over night. Avoid contact with water
- When showering the product off, allow water to run over skin, do not use a shower gel or scrub. You will notice the guide colour washes away to leaves you with a healthy tan. When you have your next shower you can use products on your skin
- Moisturise the skin daily to prevent from drying; this will also prolong the tan
- Exfoliate the skin after 3 days, to ensure the tan fades evenly with no patches
NB: the tanning product is 100% water soluble, so should not stain whites or pale colours
